What We Teach
Our Curriculum
A Montessori-inspired, therapeutically integrated curriculum that honours each child's unique pace and learning style β designed for children with diverse abilities.
Curriculum Areas
Three Core Learning Areas
UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING (UDL) FRAMEWORK
that allows teachers make sure every lesson is interesting and easy to understand. They use different ways to teach to meet the unique learning needs of neurodivergent students, so every child can learn in their own way.
THE MONTESSORI METHOD
helps children learn by doing things themselves and at OEIP, it means our special needs students can learn at their own speed. We make sure they have a learning experience that promotes independence, cultivates a passion for learning, and values their unique qualities.
EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM
helps us to identify and address any developmental delays or differences in neurodivergent children as early as possible providing them with additional support when needed. This approach ensures that every child grows and learns in the most effective way possible.
How We Teach
Our Teaching Approach
Individualised Learning Plans
Each child receives a tailored ILP developed collaboratively with parents, educators, and therapists β updated regularly as they grow.
Prepared Environments
Our classrooms are carefully designed Montessori environments β accessible, ordered, and filled with purposeful, hands-on materials.
Therapeutic Integration
Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and sensory integration are woven into the daily curriculum β not treated as separate add-ons.
Family Partnership
Regular communication, parent workshops, and home activity guides ensure learning continues beyond the classroom.
Tracking Growth
How We Assess Progress
We use holistic, observation-based assessment rather than standardised testing. Our educators document each child's journey through portfolios, anecdotal notes, and developmental milestones.
Regular parent-educator conferences ensure families are always informed and involved in shaping their child's learning path.
